In October, we gave Joseph his first haircut. He really needed it but I was scared to mess it up!
Pre haircut shot of the curls:

All done and ready to play with kitchen utensils!

Joseph loves to help me unload the silverware from the dishwasher. Such a big helper!

In November, we were saddened by the sudden loss of Joey's grandmother. We are thankful for the 89 healthy years she had on this earth. And, we were so thankful that she was able to "meet" Joseph through skype the night before she passed away. We travelled to California to spend time with family and celebrate her life.
I didn't take a lot of pictures. Joseph has been on many plane rides but this was his first with his own seat. We decided that a 3 hour drive to the airport, 2 two hour flights, and crossing over 2 time zones warranted something to help him handle the crazy travel days a little better.

We stayed with Joey's uncle Jim and Joseph loved going for rides on his golfcart.

On the way home, Joseph slept peacefully in his new carseat. He has a new carseat because while in California we were hit by an 18-wheeler that ran a red light. Praise God that we all walked away with only bruises and a little pain. It could have been much worse and we are definitely thankful for God's protection of us.

Back in Starkville, we attended our friend Camp's birthday at the Sportsplex. A real MSU basketball player was there! Joseph loved playing with all the footballs and basketballs.

This past Saturday, we went to Breakfast with Santa at the Festival of Trees.
Joseph wasn't too thrilled about Santa but I got a really nice picture of Joey and Santa. This might be a theme for the next few years!

There were beautiful trees everywhere and elaborate gingerbread houses. Joseph especially liked this tree because it had a football in front. The football was signed by Dan Mullen so I had to convince Joseph that someone paid big money for that football and we couldn't play with it.
