We don't play golf but we were pumped to be in town for the Open. The town was bustling with excitement and we were happy to join in. Joey bought a ticket for the last day to take advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in the home of golf during the Open Championship. However, he did better than just the final day. A friend gave him a free ticket to Thursday's round (which was a beautiful day). Then, since it ran long, he went both Sunday and Monday. They sold tickets for £10 for the final day so the boys and I went too (just for a bit).
Kids always got in free with an adult ticket so we got tickets to Sunday's practice round and headed to the Old Course after Church.
No one we really knew was on the board to practice that day so we just walked and watched as we happened upon different golfers.
But then, the crowd kicked up a notch and we realized that Tiger was practicing. Apparently, I took a few pictures.
James looked up at one point, saw the tiger head on the clubs, and said, "Dad, it's Tiger!".

I love the shot of all the kids laying in the grass and watching -- what an experience that must have been!
