Going to School!

Last week, Joseph attended Mother's Morning Out for the first time! He spent all morning there and got to sing songs, make art and play with other kiddos his own age. He had a blast and couldn't have loved it more! His teacher thought he had a wonderful first day and said he was "energetic, happy, and alert". We are so excited to have this new addition to our week and to have Joseph enrolled in such a great program.

In all that excitement, I failed at the task of documenting the first day. Sadly, this is the best picture I got:

It was raining so I took this on our drive to school!

Joseph found Dad's wallet and was ready to go for a ride...

...and apparently ready to ask us for money!

This picture is of Joseph's 2nd day at school. He had another great day! When I picked him up, his teacher said he had been saying "what's this? what's this?". He says this ALL the time now. He loves to point at stuff and say his version of "what's this?".

Happy as a lark after a long nap (with crazy hair to show for it!).


This is Joseph's new school bag I made for him the other day. Don't look too close at the stitching! It was definitely a trial and error project...but I managed to learn a lot about my sewing machine in the process!

Yesterday, we had fun playing with bubbles outside. He loves trying to catch them!
