October...so many events!!

We spent a lot of last October traveling and had forgotten all the events that take place in October. It's been a fun and busy month!

Joseph and I made pumpkin shaped cookies one morning before our trip to the pumpkin patch (I'll have to post some of those pics later).

Sweet James has been learning how to walk. Now he practically runs to keep up with his brother but in the early days he was still falling down a good bit. This pic was taken after he fell and hit is head on the edge of the coffee table and got a big goose egg!

Our Church has a great Fall Festival for all the kids. The boys had a wonderful time!

We went on a hay ride.

Posed for pictures

Joseph dressed in his race care driver (lightning mcqueen costume) and James just wore a pumpkin shirt because it was a fairly hot day in early October.

The boys got to go "trunk or treating".

And, they participated in the costume contest parade.

We also decided to go to the fall carnival on campus. There were lots of games to play and things to do.

We carved one of our pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.

Joseph helped for a second but quickly decided he didn't like pulling the pumpkin seeds out.

Joey carved a nice pumpkin for us and we put it on our front porch just in time for Halloween.

Joseph also painted a pumpkin one morning.

One Saturday morning, Joey ran in the Run for Education 5K. Joseph, James, and I went out to support him and watch him pass the finish line. Joey got 2nd in his age group!
