Since Uncle Jim loves to golf, we wanted to make sure to give him a chance to see the Old Course. The boys were thrilled to have another shot at the Little Himalayas. Joseph and Uncle Jim played the 18 hole course and Joey and James stuck to the 9 hole while Grandma watched.
One afternoon after school, we headed down to the West Sands. It was a beautiful day to get a great view of the town and enjoy the beach.
On Tuesday June 24, our sweet James turned 4. He awoke to streamers and Krispy Kreme donuts to celebrate his special day. It was great to have Grandma and Uncle Jim there to help James celebrate his big day.
We are so glad that Uncle Jim and Grandma came to see us in Scotland. We loved showing them around and spending time with them in our new home.

The boys decorated a card from their cousins.
Birthday breakfast on the birthday plate
Happy Birthday to James!
James had a big day! At school, they made a cake for him and he got to help make the frosting. He loved being sung to and enjoying a slice of his special cake. Then, we went to his new school for next year to see what his class will be like. James will start nursery at Canongate and get to be at the same school as Joseph. We can't wait! Looking forward to walking to pick the boys up instead of the frantic drive to gather everyone from different locations at the same time.
When Joseph got home from school, we opened presents. James was so excited to play with his new toys and read his new books. We are so glad that Uncle Jim and Grandma came to see us in Scotland. We loved showing them around and spending time with them in our new home.
