On Saturday, we took a trip downtown to visit a bookstore before heading home for lunch and rest while it rained a little. As soon as the sun broke through, we packed up and headed out to a park that Joey found, Craigtoun Country Park. It's just a few miles from our house. This place was some sort of golf course/park/botanical garden/play area and we loved it.
In the middle of this playground, there was a huge tower with two slides coming off either side. It was a little daunting at first but the boys loved it by the end.
James felt more at home on the smaller play area off to the side. It was a little more his speed:)
We left the play area to explore and found a small putt-putt course and several in-ground trampolines. Not only does every park need these...but I wouldn't mind having a few in our yard:)
We explored some more and admired all the beautiful flowers. So many lovely beds filled to the brim with many different types of blooms! Gorgeous!! I managed to get in a pic with the boys which can be a hard feat as the resident photographer.
Before heading back to the playground, we stopped by a spot with some tire obstacles. The boys did some drills to get ready for (American) football season and we were on our way.
Back at the playground, Joseph was finally ready to tackle the humongous slide tower. With some help from Joey, he made it all the way to the top and chose the winding slide to go down
These basket swings have been at several playgrounds. Joseph loves to get in but James just likes to climb in and out. He doesn't want to be pushed but is happy to push anyone else, even Joey!
James wanted to try the big slides as well. With LOTS of help from Joey, he managed to get to the top and slide down a few times.
Before heading home, we stopped to explore some other areas of the park. We had such a fun afternoon and the boys can't wait to come back to play again.

great pictures! That is an amazing playground! Wish we could have some of those play structures/swings/trampolines on playgrounds here in the US.
Those are amazing, and Jack is already asking, "Can we go there?!" Put it on the list of things to do when Craig and Amy visit! We can't wait!! Love y'all, and love being able to visit so often!
